Mary Bell was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano; she was very artistic. She was also a former member of St. Matthews Church in Dorchester for many years.

Mary Bell was pre-deceased by her two beloved husbands, the late Michael MacFarlane and the late Alexander MacFarlane. Loving mother of Bonnie Jean McCarthy and her husband Eugene of Somerville, Christine Manneta and her husband Patrick of Quincy, and the late Donald MacFarlane and the late Alexander MacFarlane and his wife Ann. Mother-in-law of Jane MacFarlane of ME. Devoted grandmother of Kristy, Heather, Jennifer, Patricia, Patrick, Michael, Kenneth, Colleen Mazzoni, Jane Sarah, John, Margaret, Jeannette and Alexander Jr. Also survived by many loving great grandchildren. Funeral from the Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, on Monday, April 14th at 9:00 a.m. A rite of Christian Burial will be held in the St. Marks Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
