McDonald (Bard na Ceapach) invited him into his saloon, took his picture and presented it to him. This, of course, was a good inspiration for the bard, and he composed a very amusing song on the occasion."1

The widow and children resided for a year or so afterwards in Guysboro Town, but went back to Cape Ann again.1
