Richard (Dick) Marple, October 6th, 1932 - August 11th, 2021: The dear son of the late Jack and Chrissie Marple, of Margaree Harbour, NS, passed away at home lovingly supported by his wife Joy, sons Mark, Brad, and Chris (Liz). He was also survived by his daughter Cindy (David); stepsons Gary (Jane), Geoff; brothers Jack and Winston (Jeannine); sisters Helen and Mildred; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Florence worked for Singer Co. in her early years in Niagara. However, her greatest accomplishments were her 3 beautiful boys. For many years, while Florence and Jim raised their family, she ran her own business, excelling as a professional sewer of custom-made draperies for several companies in Niagara region. Florence also found time to devote to Daughters of Isabella Ladies Group at Our Lady of Scapula in Niagara where she was also an active Eucharistic Minister. In her later retirement years, Florence lived at Queenston Place Retirement Home in Niagara for 9 years. It was here, she loved to call home. She so loved staff and residents & they so loved her and her beautiful smile. Her main goal everyday was to make her fellow residents smile. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date @ Parish of St. Leonard. All will be welcomed to come & help us celebrate Florence's life. Never to be forgotten by all family members and friends, especially her longtime best buddy, Phil (MacNeil)Hennessey, presently living in New Waterford, as they nurtured their rooted friendship for over 65 years.
