Alexander Joseph Fraser, 81, of Harve Boucher died at St. Martha’s Hospital.
A retired farmer, he was born at South Side Harbor, the son of the late Captain John and Flora (MacDonald) Fraser.
Besides his wife, the former Ethel DeCoste, he is survived by a son Colin, Big Marsh, two daughters, Joan (Mrs.Jarnee Sherry), Sackville, and Claire, Antigonish. He is survived also by two sisters, Sister Immaculata, Bethany, and Mary, Montreal,
He was predeceased by a sister, Katherine, and a brother, Hugh.
Requiem mass was celebrated in St. Paul’s Church, Harve Boucher, and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Robert Kinney, Alex McKeough, Joseph J. McKeough, William Cleary, Damien DeCoste and Boniface Breen.⁴
